Return Portal

A self-service return portal per sales channel: no customer account needed, unlimited returns, your own domain and every language you sell in.

About the Return Portal

Stop handling returns by email. The Return Portal gives each of your sales channels its own page where customers register a return themselves. The return lands straight in Stockpilot, next to your orders and stock, with no separate returns app to connect.

You pay per sales channel, and there's no limit on the number of returns.

Why a dedicated return portal

  • No customer account needed. Customers find their order with just the order number and email address, also when they checked out as a guest.
  • Every sales channel, one system. Each sales channel you've connected to Stockpilot gets its own portal, and every return lands in the same returns overview.
  • A portal with your brand. It runs on its own address on your domain, with your theme and logo, instead of a page tucked away in a customer account.
  • Labels without manual work. On the Business plan, the return label is booked the moment the customer submits, so you never upload labels by hand.
  • Room for delivery mistakes. Customers can also report an item they received but didn't order.

How a return works for your customer

  1. They enter their order number and email address.
  2. They pick the items and quantities to send back, with a reason per item.
  3. If something arrived that wasn't on the order, they can add that item too.
  4. They get a confirmation email in their own language, with the return number and instructions.

What happens in Stockpilot

  • The return is created in your returns overview, with a note on the order's timeline.
  • You get a notification for every new return.
  • One-click return labels on the Stockpilot Business plan: choose a carrier product once, and every return gets its label booked automatically. The customer can download it straight away, and it's attached to their confirmation email.

Your rules, your look

  • Run the portal on a Stockpilot subdomain or your own domain.
  • Offer it in multiple languages, with your return policy and instructions in each one.
  • Set the return window in days, counted from the order or fulfilment date.
  • Choose which return reasons customers see, and require a comment where you need one.
  • Style it with the theme editor, and add your logo and support details.
